Prayer - July 6

Y’know, Jesus, I often wish I had the faith of the synagogue official and the woman with a hemorrhage. The man’s daughter was dead, yet he asked you to touch her and “she will live.” The woman thought “touch his cloak and I will be cured.” Both of them had supreme confidence: “Sure, it’s going to happen; I expect it to happen.” They took the plunge. Me, I tippy-toe. Please grant me the grace to expect as a matter of course that good things will happen when I ask you to touch my life. Rev. Herb Yost, CSC
